Lost Nokia EOS images power the rumor fire – CNET.

June 6, 2013

Not one, but two sources bubbled upward photos on Wednesday of an Nokia Windows phone which might be the handset-maker’s next flagship, after its freshly-announced Lumia 925.

Called the Nokia EOS, photos with a GSM Arena tipster and with a new Twitter user going by ViziLeaks (via WP Central) both show the identical squared-off shape and tall dimensions.

Most importantly, the photos zero in using a prominent camera module that will, in images, boasts some high-capacity sensor. The rumors point to the 41-megapixel capability that him and i saw in the Nokia 808 PureView, minus the enormous bulge on your camera’s flip side. At this point, the module still pops out but in a lower profile when compared to before, and with even more finesse.

You should moreover note the long sign, which resembles the Xenon flash with the Lumia 928, and the 2nd, smaller LED, which on the 928 is used basically for focusing.

The camera module on this subject handset sticks out, despite the fact that isn’t as bulbous since Nokia’s 808 PureView.

As for the rest of the body, the handset’s black casing looks like the polycarbonate material sheathing the majority of Nokia Lumia phones, like the 920, and the screen in these shots has the same deep black and additionally slightly bubbled surface being the high-end, super-sensitive screens coated in a very glare-reducing ClearBlack filter.

Since Nokia’s Lumia 925 has yet flow over T-Mobile here in this U. S. (or even attach itself for a launch date and costs, ) I’d be surprised to work out this EOS phone turn up before fall. On one another hand, Nokia has recently been positively pumping out mobile phone handsets spanning entry-level to high-end, so that you never know.

Either process, a slimmer 41-megapixel camera with 808 PureView capabilities is one that’s kept Nokia fans salivating for two main years now, so it is possible to bet we’ll be tracking this one.
